Growing up, I watched my mum walk through the front door after a long day and do the same thing, every single time. Off came the bra. The relief on her face was instant and unmistakable. I never forgot it. So when I found myself doing exactly the same thing years later, counting down to that moment every evening, I realised this wasn't just me. This was something so many women had quietly lived with for years. And no one should spend their day waiting to feel comfortable.

At the time I was deep in a high-pressure job, constantly juggling, always thinking three steps ahead. My mental load was already full. So I did what most women do, I swapped to sports bras, wire-free styles, crop tops. Anything softer. Anything that didn't dig in. Anything to get through the day without that relentless underwire pressure.

But that created a whole new problem. The straps showed. The designs didn't work under what I actually wanted to wear. I'd find an outfit I loved and spend ten minutes figuring out which bra could disappear underneath it or give up and change entirely. It was one more decision on top of a day already full of them. One more thing on a mental load that didn't need anything added to it.

That's when it clicked. What if the dress just handled it? Built-in support that actually worked, comfortable enough to forget you were wearing it, structured enough that you didn't need anything underneath. A complete outfit you could put on in the morning and genuinely stop thinking about.

I couldn't find that anywhere. So I built it.
